How to choose the appropriate solenoid valve
There are many manufacturing materials for solenoid valves, and the characteristics of solenoid valve products from different materials also have certain differences. Stainless steel solenoid valves and copper solenoid valves are two common types of materials, both of which have their own characteristics and differences. Below, we will introduce some characteristics of these two types of solenoid valves to see which one is better and how to choose the appropriate solenoid valve better.
Compared with copper solenoid valves, stainless steel solenoid valves have stronger corrosion resistance and temperature resistance. Stainless steel solenoid valves have strong acidity and corrosion media, while copper solenoid valves have relatively poor corrosion resistance; Stainless steel solenoid valves have high temperature resistance, up to 500 ℃, while copper solenoid valves can generally only withstand temperatures of 200 ℃.
2. Stainless steel solenoid valves can be manufactured to withstand high pressure, while copper solenoid valves cannot. For example, VTON stainless steel solenoid valves can have a high pressure of up to 100Mpa, while electronic drain valves can generally only reach 1.6Mpa.
3.Under the same pressure, copper solenoid valves are generally cheaper than stainless steel solenoid valves.
4. There are many materials for stainless steel solenoid valves, such as 304, 304L, 316, and 316L; Copper solenoid valves are relatively simple, and copper cast solenoid valves are prone to deformation.
