Working principle and operation method of pneumatic valve

Pneumatic valve is a hardware pneumatic valve that uses air compression to control the valve. Its appearance greatly facilitates the engineering operations of related industries and saves a lot of energy costs for enterprises. Employees of enterprises that use pneumatic valves must understand their working principles and correct operation methods to perform operations accurately.

 

The pneumatic piston actuator uses compressed air as the power source, and drives the crank arm to rotate 90 degrees through the movement of the piston to achieve automatic opening and closing of the valve. Its components are: adjusting bolts, actuator box, crank arm, cylinder body, cylinder shaft, piston, connecting rod, universal shaft.

 

Working principle of pneumatic control valve:
The pneumatic control valve consists of an actuator and a regulating mechanism. The actuator is the thrust component of the regulating valve. It generates corresponding thrust according to the size of the control signal pressure to push the regulating mechanism to move. The valve body is the regulating component of the pneumatic control valve. It directly contacts the regulating medium to regulate the flow of the fluid.

 

Operation method of pneumatic regulating valve:
The opening and closing direction of pneumatic valves should be closed clockwise.
Since pneumatic valves in pipe networks are often opened and closed manually, the number of opening and closing revolutions should not be too many, and even large-diameter valves should be within 200-600 revolutions.
In order to facilitate one person's opening and closing operation, the maximum opening and closing torque should be 240N-m under pipeline pressure conditions.


The opening and closing operation end of the pneumatic valve should be a square tenon, with standardized dimensions and facing the ground so that people can operate directly from the ground. Valves with wheels are not suitable for underground pipe networks.

 

Display panel for the opening and closing degree of pneumatic valves:
① The scale lines for the opening and closing degree of pneumatic valves should be cast on the gearbox cover or on the outer shell of the display panel after the direction is changed, all facing the ground, and the scale lines should be painted with fluorescent powder to make them eye-catching;

② The material of the indicator dial needle can be stainless steel plate under good management, otherwise it should be painted steel plate, and aluminum sheet should not be used;

③ The indicator dial needle is eye-catching and firmly fixed. Once the opening and closing adjustment is accurate, it should be locked with rivets.

 

If the pneumatic valve is buried deep, and the distance between the operating mechanism and the display panel and the ground is ≥1.5m, an extension rod facility should be provided and firmly fixed so that people can observe and operate from the ground.
